The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has prepared a 19-page draft amendments to the traffic rules. Conventionally, officials’ proposals can be divided into several blocks relating to the transportation of passengers, storage of vehicles, requirements for tinting, and speed of transport.
The most interesting thing is that the new traffic rules may introduce
standards for the movement of so-called personal mobility devices (IM )
. This means that owners of electric scooters, unicycles, segways, skateboards, scooters, roller skates and other similar devices will now fall into a separate category of road users.
