What speed is allowed to drive?

The traffic rules do not establish a maximum speed limit at which driving a training vehicle is permitted. Therefore, the student must follow paragraph 10 of the traffic rules, namely:

• The maximum permissible speed in a populated area is 60 km/h;
• Maximum speed outside the populated area is 90 km/h;
• Maximum speed on highways is 110 km/h;
• The maximum speed in residential areas is 20 km/h.

An instructor may recommend a student a speed of 40 km/h , but not everyone does this.
