What information is contained in the STS?

The STS contains a significant list of data, thanks to which you can learn about the individual characteristics of vehicles, such as color, power, etc. This document also contains information about the owner and his residential address.

The list of such information includes:

Owner's full name and residential address.
Series and number.
Car make and model.
State car license plate.
Identification number (VIN).
The category to which this vehicle is classified.
Year of manufacture of the car.
Chassis and body license plate (if any).
Car color.
Engine power and displacement.
Permitted maximum and dry weight of the vehicle.
Special marks (if available).
Information about the traffic police department that issued the document.
Date of issue.
Signature of the official who issued it.

Simply put, this is a confirmation of a specific person’s right to drive a vehicle. The document is issued for a person, and not for a car, therefore, when a car is resold, the STS is handed over to the traffic police and does not pass on to the new owner.
